Quantitative EEG, also known as brain mapping, is a non-invasive technique used to measure and analyze the electrical activity of the brain. This analyzed data shows detailed information about things like connectivity and processing speed along major brain networks, as well as regional information about brainwave activity that is different than what what is expected. This technique can be used to identify brainwave activity patterns that may be associated with various conditions, such as ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Brain mapping can provide valuable information to help guide training decisions and monitor the effectiveness of interventions. Q-EEG guided neurofeedback is also a valuable tool for creating effective peak-performance protocols. 

Neurofeedback, also known as EEG biofeedback, is a technique that uses real-time monitoring of brain wave activity to train individuals to self-regulate for improved mental and physical performance. Through this process, clients can learn to recognize and control their brain wave patterns to achieve a desired state of mental or physical arousal. In addition to its usefulness as part of a robust peak performance program for athletes, performing artists, students and other professionals, Neurofeedback/ EEG biofeedback has helped clients find relief from issues including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, chronic pain, and more. The training is conducted by a licensed therapist with specialized neurofeedback equipment.

LoRETA Neurofeedback is another kind of neurofeedback that our therapists have years of extensive experience using.  LoRETA (Low Resolution Electromagnetic Tomography) is a Q-EEG guided "live z-score" training. This means that we use a full 19 sensor array to train the brain in real time using a normed database.  One way to think about this kind of neurofeedback is that it trains entire systems within the brain as opposed to traditional surface neurofeedback, which trains specific regions of the brain. We never rely on equipment manufacturers to produce training plans for our clients. We never use a "one size fits all" approach either. We design our training protocols in-house using the most respected normed databases to create a custom plan that is a good fit for you and your goals.

Low Energy Neurofeedback is a unique kind of brainwave biofeedback.  The focus of this type of neurofeedback is brainwave optimization and relaxation. This kind of training is more passive than other kinds of neurofeedback, and uses a radio-frequency carrier wave that is presented to the brain as an offset of the client's dominant EEG frequency.  Low energy neurofeedback sessions can be combined with more traditional counseling techniques, as the process provides an opportunity for more conversational interaction during the course of a session.  This kind of neurofeedback is more of a gentle nudge that allows the brain to figure out on its own how to re-set and re-balance.
